Look at both traffic quantity and quality.

You can use your traffic volume as Y-axis and bounce rate as X-axis to evaluate different channels. Below is an example using dummy data.

Paid search almost doubled both the traffic and conversion rate of the organic search of Boxed, so the suggestions are:

  • revisit the paid search strategy to emphasize the quality of traffic by driving targeted traffic
  • put more effort on SEO to increase organic traffic

Decrease the bounce rate by revisiting the landing pages if the overall bounce rate is high.

The high bounce rate of Boxed is noticeable.

For a new user like me, the first screen of the homepage (I’m using 13’’ Mac Pro) does not convey the key-value clearly.
